Registration and abstract submission is now open!
The registration fee includes the 2.5 days of the conference, with materials, refreshments, lunches, welcome reception and conference dinner at BALTIC on Thursday 1st August. An optional tour of the Wylam Brewery is also available for Wednesday 31st July. A limited number of student bursaries will be available, more details to come.

Please be aware of companies calling claiming to represent the meeting for travel/accommodation bookings. You will only be contacted by the committee via Newcastle University emails, Newcastle University, or through the abstract submission system.
Scientists from academia and industry are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations describing original research in any of the conference scientific topics. The scientific committee will review and select posters and talks for presentation at the meeting.
Please upload your abstract to our abstract submission system when you have registered and paid for the conference. Submission deadline is the 29th June 2019. Abstracts can be up to 250 words long and submission of a graphical abstract for the programme is encouraged.
The speaker/poster programme will be finalised by 10th July and all attendees will be notified of abstract outcomes by this date.
Bursaries and Travel Grants
Travel grants to attend the meeting are available to members of FEBS and FEMS member societies, including the Biochemical Society and the Microbiology Society. Please see society websites for details.
